A refillery is a retail store where you can bring your own containers to refill a host of household items like cleaning solutions and personal care products. This helps drastically reduce packaging waste, specifically single-use plastic.

You can find us in Ritchie at 9912 77 ave, in the heart of Happy Beer Street!

We’re happy to refill whatever you bring us! You might bring mason jars, soap dispensers, old shampoo bottles, empty laundry jugs, or even plastic water bottles. Don’t have a container to refill? No problem! We offer a free jar library donated by our community members as well as amber and clear glass bottles and jars for purchase to be refilled again and again.

Don’t worry, our staff members are here to help you out! We aim to make the refilling process easy and friendly. Just bring your containers to the counter and we’ll weigh them and help you find what you’re looking for. We might refill for you, or if you feel comfortable you can refill yourself using our pumps!

We offer all kinds of products for refill! From laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and even deodorant and toothpaste. You can find a full list of the items we offer for refill along with ingredient lists and a more detailed explanation of the process here.

We do our best to source products that are not only eco friendly, but also affordable. Apples to apples (as in Canadian-made, eco friendly, and sourced from small businesses), you can expect to spend about what you would on similar products at the grocery or drug store. We’re happy to provide price quotes prior to refilling so you know exactly what to expect at the till.

We source our products exclusively from Canadian businesses and focus on supporting suppliers that are as local as possible. We also have our own line of hand soap, dish soap, all purpose cleaner, laundry soap, and shower gels made right here in Edmonton!

Our store hours are Monday-Wednesday 11-5pm, Thursday-Friday 12-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm, and Sunday from 12-5. We’re open on holidays from 12-5 unless otherwise posted. We generally only close on December 25 and 26 and January 1.

Because of the nature of refilling, our bulk refills items are available in-store only. You can check out our full range of refillable products here.

We ship Canada-wide via our online store! Orders are packaged in completely reused shipping materials and are generally shipped within 1-2 business days. Free shipping is offered for any order over $100. If you’re located in Edmonton we offer a local delivery service that delivers the next business day to your home or place of work.
